Kenneth ''Bubby'' William Hitt's Obituary
Kenneth William (Bubby) Hitt 80, of Stevensburg, Culpeper County passed into eternal rest on Saturday October 14, 2017 at his residence. Born on December 1, 1936 to William Wallace Hitt and Lena Mae Routt Hitt.
On June 22, 1957 he was united in marriage with Jane Gray Brown.
Bubby was well known in the Culpeper community getting to know many people during his 59 year tenure as a salesman for Merchants Grocery.
Surviving Bubby is his wife of 60 years, Jane Gray along with 3 children. Kenneth Donald Hitt and his wife Donna, Gary Randall and Penny Paige Hurt and her husband Curtis.
Additional survivors are 4 grandchildren – Jeremy Walter Hitt, Britton Ross Hitt, William Russell Hitt and Taylor Anderson Hitt. 7 Great grandchildren – Braedon Hitt, Gavin Hitt, Josh Hitt, Lil Will, Hannah Hitt, Kaylee Hitt and Kayden Hitt.
Preceding him in death were his parents, William and Lena Hitt and a great granddaughter Camryn Renea Hitt.
The family will receive friends on Monday, October 16, 2017 from 6PM to 8PM at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel located at 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 17, 2017, at Stevensburg Baptist Church with Rev. Philip Walker officiating. The service will be held at 11AM
