Kelly Renee Javins' Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Kelly Renee Javins, 39, of Culpeper on January 26, 2025. She was born on April 6, 1985, in Fauquier County, VA to Granderson “Bud” and Linda Javins.
From the time she entered this world, we knew she was special. She immediately brought joy into our lives. Her little smile lit up the whole room. She always had a genuine kindness and selfless demeanor. Her empathy and compassion for people and animals was only a small part of what made her so special. Her love for her family was nothing short of amazing. No matter what she had going on in her own life, including her recent illness, she always made sure to check in on her family. She was always there with a willing hand and open heart.
Kelly had the biggest heart and kindest spirit; that was evident in everything she did and to all those that she met. Her deep compassion for people led her to a career working in different aspects with the elderly; a career in which she loved immensely. Her unwavering dedication and gentle touch brought solace to so many. Prior to her health issues, she was an activity planner for the seniors. She found that so rewarding. When she would share stories about her “people”, you could tell that made her happy.
We will always remember Kelly for her infectious smile and authentic personality. Many will attest that she was just a simple, down-to-earth, genuine human being. Although her passing is so difficult to understand, we are comforted by the fact she leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, kindness, and unforgettable memories.
She is survived by her parents; daughter, Lillianna Lightfoot; life partner Frank Lightfoot; sister, Kathy (Tommy) Lillard; nephews, Tommy and Adam Lillard; uncles Bruce (Sharon) Wright, David (Misty) Wright, Mike (Missy) Wright; aunts, Carolyn Shepherd and Gina Vallette; her life partner’s family whom she considered her family, Ruth “Todie” (Herbert Sr) Roy, Dalonte Lightfoot and Zaimayne Roy; along with a host of extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Frank and Eunice “Punkin” Wright; paternal grandparents, Granderson “Raymond” and Kathryn “Kitty” Javins.
A celebration of life will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA. A brief service will begin at 2:30 p.m.
