Kathryn Elizabeth Ketterer's Obituary
Kathryn Elizabeth “Katy” Ketterer, 50, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2024, in Troy, PA. She was born April 28, 1973, in Tiffin, OH to Barry and Patricia Ketterer.
Despite the limitations imposed on her at birth, Katy lived her life with zest and a positive attitude. She was rarely “down”. She went everywhere with her family, and lived in many places in the United States including Hawaii. She traveled internationally with her mom and dad, making friends wherever she went. Katy was the ultimate goodwill Ambassador extending her hand to everyone she met and pulling them in for a “Katy hug”. She could see people for who they were not what they were and love them regardless of any other consideration. She could warm any heart with her bright smile. Katy absolutely adored her two brothers and their families. She was a most cherished blessing to all who knew her.
Katy is survived by her parents, Barry and Patricia Ketterer; brothers, Robert Ketterer and wife, Irene, and Jason Ketterer and wife, Raygan; two nieces and two nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at 3:30 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701.
The interment will be private.
