Kathy and I met when our sons, Marc and Todd, were in the same first grade class at Walls Elementary School. The boys became almost inseparable friends until Marc and family moved to Virginia. Kathy and I were equally inseparable for many years….such a comfortable connection we had, very family centered. I am honored to have had such an important friendship, and I treasure each memory.
So sorry to hear about our dear friend Kate. In the beginning she was my real estate mentor but soon she called several of us in the office her adopted children. Many fun office shenanigans during those years!
One day she came into the office, after coming back from a trip to China and I said to her, "I would like to go on your next trip with you" and she said that I probably wouldn't want to go because she was planning to go to Antarctica as her next trip and she proceeded to show me the booking website. Well, within 3 hours we booked the 3 week trip! What a wonderful experience that was and to share it with Kate made it all the more special! We also shared a love of photography and we both took many wonderful photos! I am so grateful for her encouraging me to consider taking that amazing trip!
She talked so lovingly about Jim and all her children and she always beamed with pride while talking of her grandkids.
We had moved away from the lake so I had not seen her in a while but I will never forget the amazing wife, mom, and friend that she was and the important part she played in my life. ❤️

Kate and i had so many wonderful and fun experiences that it is hard to pick just one. All i can say is that kate made my world a better place. I will miss her everyday of my life. Beverly
