Katherine “Katie” Lacey Lee
Katie Lee, 85, passed away August 13, 2008, at her home in Manassas, VA. Beloved bride of Charles B. Lee for 62 ½ years; loving mother of Randy Lee and wife Josepha, Peggy Lee, Kay Ranstead, Geri Lee and husband Charles Mallory, and Mary Jo Hill and husband Phil; devoted grandmother of 13 grandchildren. Katie was born in Danbury, Iowa, graduated from Washington-Lee High School in Arlington, and lived in Vienna before moving to Manassas. Katie and her husband Charlie were avid square dancers and have remained involved in dancing, calling, and teaching square dancing for over 50 years.The family invites friends to celebrate Katie’s life on August 20, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Found and Sons Lee Funeral Chapel, 8521 Sudley Rd., Manassas, VA. The Funeral Mass will be held on August 21, at 10 a.m. at All Saints Catholic Church, 9300 Stonewall Rd., Manassas, VA. Interment will follow at Quantico National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Capital Hospice, 6565 Arlington Blvd., Suite 500, Falls Church, VA 22042 or to the charity of your choice.
