Katherine Lucille Glascoe's Obituary
Katherine Lucille Glascoe, 95, of Reva departed this life on Friday, February 2, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born December 13, 1922 in Madison County, the last surviving child of 12 to the late Horace and Katy Smallwood Gillison.
Mrs. Glascoe was a deaconess of Canaan Baptist Church.
She is survived by four children, Diana Jackson and her husband, Fred of Reva, Paula Banks and her husband, Woodrow of Richmond, Carol Barbee of Richmond, and Jacqueline Glascoe of Reva; 10 grandchildren; numerous great and great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents and siblings, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Glascoe, Sr.; two sons, Raymond Glascoe, Jr. and Daniel Glascoe; and one granddaughter, Alicia Lynn Minor.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 12 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper with Rev. Andrew Juggins officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow in Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery.
