Katherine Flowers' Obituary
Katherine Flowers, 89, of Rixeyville died Friday, April 18, 2008 at Culpeper Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born December 27, 1919 in Culpeper to the late Amy White Aminger.
Mrs. Flowers worked as a seamstress at Lady Hampton in Arlington for over 40 years. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, loved music, and made beautiful handmade quilts. She was the grandmother to 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.
She is survived by her brother, Frank White and his wife, Estelle of Culpeper, her sister, Mary Ingelton of Annandale, eight grandchildren, Sylvester White, Audrey White, Donnie White, Neal White, Myra White, Gary White, Raymond White, and Anne Smith, daughter-in-law, Jean White and sister-in-law, Winnie White, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Flowers, her son, Raymond Alexander White, and her brother, Robert White, Jr.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA. A visitation will be held two hours prior to the service.
Interment will follow in Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Glen White, Andrey White, Damien White, Dominique White, Danny White, and Eric White, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Gregory Williams, Robert Williams, Reggie White, Gilbert Noakes, James Woodson and Ricardo Malloy.
