Kate Elmo Partlow's Obituary
Kate Elmo Partlow, 97, of Alexandria, VA, died Wednesday, March 2, 2022. She was born July 2, 1924, in Sperryville, VA, to the late Lawrence Elmo Johnson and Eva Love Beahm Johnson.
Kate is survived by her children, Rosemarie Dunn, John Milton Partlow, Jr. (Nora), Lawrence Elmo Partlow, and Allen David Partlow, siblings, Mary Elizabeth Clatterbuck and Allen Johnson, sister-in-law, Aline Johnson, grandchildren, Dianna Martinez (Ronald), Brian Dunn (Amy Rojas), John Michael Partlow, Katelyn Partlow, Kyle Kolodziejski, and Kori Fernandez. She is also survived by great grandchildren, Javier Martinez, Sofia Martinez, Coleson Dunn, Fischer Kolodziejski, Jaden McMillian, Jordan McMillian, and Justin McMillian, as well as a host of additional family members.
In addition to her parents, Kate is preceded in death by her husband, John Milton Partlow, Sr., siblings, Robert Johnson (Stella), Louise Johnson, Dorothy Rector (Lyle), Carson Johnson, son-in-law, Kent Dunn, sister-in-law, Dorothy “Dot” Johnson, and brother-in-law, Edward Clatterbuck.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, March 8, 2022, from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm with Pastor Timothy Corder officiating. The family would like to invite those unable to attend to join the service via live stream at
