Karen Sue Veltoven's Obituary
Karen Sue Wimmer Veltoven, 71 of Culpeper died Monday, August 17, 2020 at the Culpeper Health and Rehab Center. She was born July 2, 1949 in Fayette County, WVA to the late John Morgan and Allie Gay Wimmer.
Karen loved working with people. She was a homemaker who loved to sit on her front porch and swing. She loved visiting her home place in West Virginia. In her spare time she would be caught watching westerns.
She is survived by her children, Teresa Shifflett and husband, Gregory W. of Ruckersville, VA, and Timothy M. Veltoven and fiancé, Raina Weakley of Culpeper, VA; and grandchildren Ashley Keiser and husband James and Travis C. Shifflett; one great granddaughter, Moana K Keiser; siblings Freda Abrams and her husband Joe of Florida and Tom M. Wimmer and his wife Vicki of West Virginia; special niece and nephews, Ricky, Robbie and Rodney Arrington, Shelia, Mike and Paul Ratliff and a host of other nieces, nephews and friends, including her best friend, Kathy Lane.
She was preceded in death by her brother John Wimmer and two sisters; Sara “Tootie” Ratliff and Della Arrington and her husband Robert.
Mom will be deeply missed.
Funeral services will be private.
