Karen G. Thornhill's Obituary
Karen G. Thornhill, 85, of Boston, VA passed away Thursday, May 30, 2024, at her residence. She was born April 16, 1939, to the late Henry and Roberta Gross in Chicago, IL.
Karen leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 65 years, Robert; her daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Wayne Sumner; her daughter and son-in-law, Missy and Dick Whittington; her son and daughter-in-law, Robbie and Kathy Thornhill; her grandchildren, Nate (Kate), Bryan (Nikki), Daniel (Shelly), Ethan, Shelby (Kevin), Sarah, Grayson, and Lyndi; and her great-grandchildren, Brynn, Liam, Thea, Evelyn, and Josephine.
The family will receive friends on Friday, June 14, 2024, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Culpeper, VA. A rosary service will begin at 7 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at 11 a.m. at St. Peter Catholic Church, 12762 Lee Highway, Washington, VA with Fr. Beres officiating.
Interment will follow at St. Peter Catholic Church Cemetery.
