Karen Cope Bush's Obituary
Karen Cope Bush, 59, of Madison, VA passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at her residence. She was born December 12, 1965 and was later adopted by Donald and Patricia Cope in Alexandria, VA.
Karen was a social butterfly. She never met a stranger and if you were walking your dog she would stop to say hello. Karen loved her children dearly and welcomed all of their friends into her home and treated them all as her own. Her love of all animals was one of a kind. Christmas was her favorite time of the year. She took pride in getting into the holiday spirit and decorating for the season. The holiday always was more special to her when there was snow on the ground to accompany it.
In addition to her parents, Karen is survived by her children, Sean Michael Bush and his wife, Tabitha; Tiffany Bush; and Victoria Leigh Bush, and her partner, Dylan; her brothers, David Godwin and Robert Godwin; all of her grand pups and grand cats; and a host of extended family and friends.
Karen is preceded in death by her twin sister, Lynn Renner, and her beloved dogs, Smokey and Misti.
Services will be private.
