June L. Kerr's Obituary
June L. Kerr, 82, of Culpeper, died Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Novant Health Systems UVA Culpeper Hospital. She was born January 31, 1941 in Ada, Michigan to the late John and Martha Jane Wilson.
June loved her four sons fiercely, as well as all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling and made many trips over the years to Las Vegas and other countries with her sisters. She worked for Merillat for 30 years, originally moving to Culpeper to help set up the local factory in the county. June loved reading and enjoyed spending time at the beach and the pool.
June is survived by her husband, Carlton Kerr; four sons, James A. Kerr (Michele), Jeffrey S. Kerr (Robin), John M. Kerr (Kimberly), and Jay C. Kerr; six grandchildren, Amy Northard (James), David Kerr (Miho), Allison Brown (Johnny), Jennifer Kerr, Jordyn Blade (Matt), and Cameron Kerr; five great grandchildren; and one sister, Ginny Moore.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by ten siblings.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper with Pastor Adam Meisberger officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow at Culpeper National Cemetery.
