Although these thoughts and Prayers come late it certainly is no reflection of how much we enjoyed and will miss Julius. We both came to know him through work at the Post Office in Warrenton. As we grew in friendships we were able to see the truly good person he was. Always upbeat and carrying his smile, he was a pleasure to work with and to be around. His work ethic and caring personality resonated with everyone he’d meet. Sure things would upset him at times but within no time he was back being Julius, joking, smiling, and cutting up. After his illness forced him away from work we were still able to stay in touch periodically and would ask him for updates on his health. No matter how glum or dire some of this would be he’d quickly turn the conversation to how we were doing and move away from himself. Not only will so many people miss him whose lives he touched but those who never got that opportunity surely miss out. Although we never met or knew his family our heartfelt condolences go to you now. Losses like these are hard to find the words for. Fortunately for us our Creator has many. Our Prayers are for you to lean onto and not away from our Lord and Savior. That you find the peace of God which surpasses all understanding to comfort you in these times. We’ll miss you our good Friend. Joshua 1:9

Julius was a genuinely kind and friendly man. I remember having talks with him and feeling inspired and loved. Regardless of his situation he was always positive. I will always think about him and keep him in my memory. God speed man…
Prayers to and for the family and entire families of brother Julius. Rest in peace

Dr. J was a hard worker and his postal customers and fellow employees enjoyed his humor. He was my substitute for a few years and always was so gracious and kind. Sending love and prayers to his family and friends

Julius was such a nice person. He had a great smile. My thoughts are with his family.
