Julia Compton Johnston's Obituary
Julia Compton Johnston, 97, of Boston died at Culpeper Health and Rehab Center on Monday, July 16, 2018. She was born in Reva to the late Clarence and Vernie Compton on June 30, 1921.
Julia is survived by her son, Michael Johnston and wife, Joan of Boston, VA and daughter, Sandra Johnston of Culpeper; grandchildren, Brian Johnston of Woodville and Morgan Johnston of Madison; and three great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Jackson Johnston; sisters, Hilda Weaver and Nina Palmer Brizzolara; and brothers, Robert Compton and Jack Compton.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery, Culpeper, VA with Chaplin Denise Vogt officiating.
