Judith Jacobson Cressman's Obituary
Judith J. Cressman (Judy) passed away peacefully at her home on May 29th. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, James G. Cressman; her son, Joshua; grandson, Cameron; her mother, Iris Jacobson; two sisters, Ann Craft and Jean Young (brother-in-law Phil Young); her brother, John Jacobson; four nephews, Martin, Matthew, Timothy, and Stephen; niece, Stacey; great niece, Breann; great nephew, Gabriel; and great-great niece Ivie Louise.
Judy enjoyed cooking, eating, talking about food, and gardening (both flowers and vegetables). Tomatoes and peppers were her favorites, which she used for all her sauces. She also enjoyed camping and traveling all around the country with her incredible husband Jim (who has always been the wind beneath her wings), and all their adored pets aboard (at one time 5 dogs and 3 cats)! Judy also enjoyed spending as much time as possible with her husband, pets, and visiting beloved family and friends at their coastal Florida home.
Most of all, she loved her life of hairdressing in this wonderful city of Fredericksburg where she lived since 1987. This was the place where so many bonds were made, and friendships grew that lasted more than 30 yrs. Each individual who sat in Judy’s chair was her muse, and she enjoyed every minute of it! Judy was so grateful to have all these wonderful people in her life, including her long-time friend and guardian angel, Pam, who kept the whole gang laughing while expertly tending to Judy’s clients and watching over her; and Leigh, another special angel who played with her dog Lola, and shared so many other wonderful things. She would like to thank everyone for all the food, flowers, texts, voicemails, cards with heartfelt messages, prayers; and all the Love, Loyalty and Support. This “Village“ came out!
“Never give up on people who love you. Never give up on happiness, because life is an incredible show!” - (Pope Francis)
“See you all on the other side!” – Judy.
