Joyce Matilda Wilson's Obituary
Joyce Matilda Wilson, 79, of Rappahannock, VA passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at her residence. She was born May 28, 1945, to the late Eugene and Dorothy Dodson.
Joyce is survived by her husband of 58 years, Carlton Craig Wilson; daughters, Sonja Wilson (Brittany) and Karen Chapman (Winston); grandchildren Dane and Kerrie Chapman, Derek Chapman, Dennis Chapman, II, Wyatt, Marley and Remington; great-grandchildren, Dane and Eilanna Chapman; sisters, Gloria Switzer and Janet Hitt; and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Joyce is preceded in death by her siblings, Sherlean Wayland, Boozie Dodson, Gene Dodson, and Ronald Dodson.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the family to assist with medical and funeral costs.
