Joyce Payne's Obituary
Mrs. Joyce Geneva Payne, 69, of Falmouth passed away on March 29, 2008 at Mary Washington Hospital. She was born on September 3, 1938 to the late Ella Jane and John Begley. Joyce was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles William Payne, Sr.
Mrs. Payne loved children and her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by seven children, Mary Lohr and her husband Mark of Thornburg, Charles W. Payne, Jr. and his wife Tammy of Colonial Beach, Bertie Covington and her husband Marvin of Fredericksburg, Francis Payne of Stafford, Johnny Payne of Stafford, Norris Payne of Stafford, and Sandy Payne Sullivan of Stafford; a sister, Della Skinner of Bowling Green; nine grandchildren, Chuck Lohr, Ashley McCallum, Christy Hansbrough, Mindy Covington, Amber Maiden, Brandon Sullivan, Cassie Sullivan, Bradley Wells, and Jonathan Newton; six loving great grandchildren. Additional survivors include numerous nieces and nephews.
