Joshua Lee Burke's Obituary
Joshua Lee Burke, 22, of Culpeper died Saturday, September 1, 2007. He was born on March 18, 1985 in Culpeper, VA to John P. Burke and his wife, Betsy of Culpeper and Coral B. Wheeler of New Zealand.
Josh enjoyed fishing and going to NASCAR races to watch his favorite driver, Tony Stewart. He loved life and lived it to the fullest. He had many friends and cherished the time spent with each of them. He was married to his loving wife, Tori Gouldman Burke who was also taken in the car accident on September 1st. Above all he loved his wife and daughter with all of his heart.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his daughter, Alexis Michelle Burke, his siblings, Charles C. Burke and his sons, Gavin and Aiden Burke and their mother Jacqueline Wheeler of Brandy Station, and Amanda Embrey and her husband, Justin of Culpeper.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 5, 2007 from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, September 6, 2007 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 7, 2007 at 1 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Rev. Marvin Cook officiating.
Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alexis Michelle Burke Trust Fund, c/o Wachovia Bank 795 Nalles Mill Rd. Culpeper, VA 22701.
