Jo was real sweet person. I enjoyed being with when got hair and or nails done at Autumn Care. I was always sorry I couldn't spend more time with her. I enjoyed Roy also. They are together now and both at peace and without pain. She loved all her family. I know you all will miss her very much. My condolences and prayers for your peace.
Mom,
Losing you is such a hard burden to bear; I will miss you every day, and I will never forget the times we shared together. I will miss seeing you each week, talking to you, and enjoying the coconut cakes you baked for my birthday, but I know that you are at peace with the Lord. I am glad that you and dad are together again, that you both are with Steve, and you all are with your loved ones who have gone before you.
Until we meet again, all my love,
Ann
I have fond memories of Josie. She was a Godly lady and a wonderful friend. A great cook. My mom (Leeanna Wharton) sends the family her condolences as Josie was a good friend of hers and they talked on phone as often as they could up until the last couple months. She taught my kids in Sunday school at Thornton Gap Church and maybe even me. She has gained her angel wings, rest easy Josie till we meet again. Lisa Dodson and family.

It was my joy to meet Josephine and Roy when I preached a revival at Thorton Gap. They were not the typical Baptist folk, they sat near the front. It was my privilege to minister to them in even a small way since those meetings. God's grace and comfort to this dear family.
