Joseph Aquilla Fox's Obituary
Joseph Aquilla Fox, 90, of Culpeper died Monday, October 5, 2009 at Culpeper Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born November 18, 1918 in Culpeper to the late Joseph A. and Ruby Williams Fox.
Mr. Fox was a United States Army veteran and served his country during WWII in France and Germany. He was a member of Culpeper Free Methodist Church, now known as Church on the Rise as well as a member of the Culpeper V.F.W.
He is survived by his children, Jerry Fox and his wife, Sharon of Fredericksburg and Jo Ann Ward and her husband, Buddy of Culpeper, special nephew, Bobby Broyles and his wife, Linda, niece, Emma Jett and nephew, Sonny Fox.
Additional survivors include six grandchildren, Angela Beverly of Manassas, Provin Ward and his wife, Lisa of Unionville, Tim Ward and his wife, Susan of Herndon, Marcy Currier and her husband, Junius of Fredericksburg, Dana Ward Patterson and her husband, Brian of Ashburn and Brittany Fox of Fredericksburg, and nine great grandchildren, Lauren Butler, Devin Ward, Ryan Beverly, Justin Ward, Jackson Ward, Ariana Currier, Nathan Ward, Sarah Ward and Ella Patterson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Lee Fox and his brother, Emmett Fox.
