Joseph Carroll White's Obituary
Joseph Carroll White was born on November 19, 1951 in Rixeyville, VA (Culpeper County) to the late Joseph Leo White and Josephine Beatrice White (Colbert). He departed on Saturday, October 23, 2021, at the age of 69.
Known to most as Joe Lee, he attended Culpeper County Public Schools and worked in the construction and landscaping businesses. In addition to his parents, Joe Lee was preceded in death by one brother: George E. Colbert and four sisters: Louise E. Edwards, Ruth E. Moore, Frances H. Burrell, and Lucille V. Washington.
Joe Lee is survived by his sons: Brian K. Newman of Fredericksburg, VA and Joseph C. Holmes of Culpeper, VA; one sister: Joan C. Colbert of Falls Church, VA; four grandchildren: Alexis Newman, Nailiah Williams, Kadijah James, and Olivia Holmes; two great grandchildren: Khalil Newman and Paris Newman; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
