Joseph Lee Richards' Obituary
Joseph Lee Richards, 74, passed away April 27, 2011 at his residence. He was born to the late David and Lillie M. Richards on July 26, 1936 in Culpeper.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Angela Richards, four sons, Alvin, Joseph (Sheila), Leonard (Carolyn) and Anthony. Also two daughters, Myetta (Alonzo) and Alfreda; mother-in-law, Mrs. Romine Long, three step-children, three aunts, two uncles, two sisters-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended families and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, David (Chubby) and former wives, Mrs. Nellie W. Richards and Mrs. Joyce M. Richards.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 1, 2011 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 2, 2011 at 11 a.m. with a one hour viewing at 10 a.m. at Free Union Baptist Church with Rev. Sanford Reaves, Jr. and Rev. Wayne Robinson officiating.
Interment will follow in the Free Union Baptist Church Cemetery.
