Joseph Rudolph Parvin, Sr.'s Obituary
Joseph Rudolph Parvin, Sr. 83, of Locust Grove passed away on Monday, January 7, 2019 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born December 15, 1935 in Suffolk, VA to the late Henry Alston and Alethea Magnolia Paramore Parvin.
He is survived by six children, Vickie Brown, Joseph Parvin, Jr., Lori Waters, Betty Furr, Blair Elliott, and Cheryl Banks; three siblings, Gray Probst, Joyce Fisher, and Faye Robison; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Parvin; one son, Joseph Parvin, III; and three siblings, Dorothy Combs, Jimmy Parvin and Dick Parvin.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Pastor Josh Shifflett officiating.
Interment will follow in Culpeper National Cemetery with military honors provided by Culpeper VFW Post 2524.
