Joseph Livingston's Obituary
Joseph Jefferson Livingston, 83, of Lignum died Friday, April 4, 2014 at his residence. He was born January 29, 1931 in Many, LA to the late Joseph and Eula Lee Livingston.
Mr. Livingston was a beloved father and a generous and giving person. It didn’t take a lot to make him happy, just to please others and forgive others brought happiness to his heart.
He is survived by his daughter, Carolyn Richards and her husband, Jack of Lignum; one sister, Alma Jean Featzka; three grandchildren, George Kenneth Hernandez, Jr. and his wife, Dominique of Pearl River, LA, Amanda Louise Hernandez of New Orleans, LA and William Wesley Richards of Lignum; two great grandchildren, Gavin Kenneth and Bailey Marie Hernandez; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Laura Livingston; and five siblings, Hazel Cannon, Irene Rivers, Tommy Livingston, Eula Mae DeVille and Margaret Smith.
The family will hold a memorial service at a late date in Alexandria, LA.
