It has been along time since I have seen Mr. Lawson but I will never forget his laughter and smiling face. For awhile he was like my second father and Jackie like my sister. You are so lucky to have had him in your lives.I'm sure he is up in heaven smiling down on you all...so proud.

My mom, Ruby Hudson, was so sad to hear of Joe's death. All of us in the Hudson family remember him coming into "Foodway" and chatting and telling the best stories! He always
had a smile for everyone and was so interested in the family. Joe was a wonderful person, a great father and a gracious friend to all who knew him. All of Culpeper will miss him and our prayers are with the family. We know that you hold many special memories that will always keep his spirit close and his love for each of you in your heart.

I'll always remember his visits to Daddy on his way home from the State Police Academy. He was a Class Act and so handsome in his uniform.
