Margaret Dunagan
I have known Joey for slightly more then ten years. I met him back in 2001 when I first met his father Tony. Joey has always been special to me thru the years. Whenever he was in town I would cook a big dinner and he would eat til he was so full then compliment how delicious it was. We had many talks way into the night on our back patio. He was our Best Man at our wedding and even dedicated a song that he wrote to both his Father and me.
Joey was a very driven young man. When he had his eyes set on something he went after it. As he traveled across the states, spreading the word of the Lord, he knew this is what God had in mind for him since he was a very young little boy. I know this through stories I heard from many people. He was a very loyal son and loved his family unconditionaly. He would call just to see what you were doing or how you were feeling.
Joey was a very intelligant person who took his ideas and to put them to work. Many of them were way beyond our understanding but he knew what he was doing. I admired him for that. As silly or ridiculous as they may have seemed to some of us, it didn't stop him from trying them out. You knew he successful by the big smile on his face. I don't know everything about Joey but what I do know, I love.
He has touched more lives in his lifetime then anyone could imagine. His legacy and funeral service has touched so many people and for that I am a very proud Step-Mom.
He will be missed more then words can say. I pray God will comfort his wife Mandy, his children, sister, parents and the many friends he made throughout his life.
Love to his family,
Margaret
