Joseph Ray Davis' Obituary
Joseph Ray “Joey” Davis, 37, of Stafford County, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, November 30, 2016.
Joey was a very generous man. He would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. Joey loved to cook out, fish, and play with his nieces and nephews. He spent the last two years of his life taking care of his father, attending to his every need. He took pride in helping his dad. The time spent together and connection that grew was beneficial for both father and son.
He is survived by his pride and joy, and the light of his life, his daughter, Abigail Faith “Abby” Davis, his parents, Ruth Hewitt Davis and Charles Ray Davis, siblings Johnathon Ray Davis (Stacy), Christina Marshall (Jeff), Rachel Leigh Barb (Daniel), and Melissa Rose Strom (Jason), his step sister, Jenny Cascada and step brother, Jay Bryant, many nieces and nephews and other extended family.
The family will receive friends from 3 pm to 5 pm on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg, where a funeral will begin at 5 pm with Pastor Michael Reid, Sr. officiating. Burial will take place at 3 pm on Sunday, December 11, 2016 in Dumfries Cemetery, 17821 Mine Rd, Dumfries.
