Joe will be missed by all those that knew him. My absolute favorite memory with Joe was travelling through Germany, and seeing where he lived when he was younger. Seeing the joy on his face as he easily slipped back into speaking German with one of his neighbors from decades before. And how, when he saw his old home, he was filled with joy. Rest in peace Joe.
We were so sorry to hear of Joe’s death. What a great guy. He had such a quiet gentleness about him. He had interesting stories and was a good listener. We always loved seeing him and Sharon when spending time with Laurisa and Mark. I’ll always remember how he liked my salads “because I had a lot of ingredients in them”. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire family - especially Sharon. It’s so hard to lose your best friend. May God hold you all extra tight during this difficult time.
