Jonathan Cane Knighting's Obituary
Jonathan Cane Knighting, 20, of Culpeper, died Saturday, July 28, 2007. He was born June 27, 1987 in Charlottesville, VA to Steve Arnold Knighting of Culpeper and Ida Sue Wright of Remington.
Jonathan was a very kind and generous person, who never met a stranger. He enjoyed people, loved his family and touched the hearts of so many. He was an avid Redskin fan and took great pleasure in being out on the water fishing.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his siblings, Derick Lee Knighting, Frances Mae Knighting, Janice Faye Knighting, Elizabeth Diane Knighting, Melissa Ann Knighting, Patricia Kaye Wood, Terri Lynn Martinez, Jeffrey Wayne Knighting, Steve Arnold Knighting, Jr., Shirley Beale, Gwendolyn Sue Dodson,a stepmother, Tina Gordon, a stepfather, Thomas Perry Stringfellow, a godmother, Shirley Diane Knighting, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfathers, Bedford James Wright and Frederick Dillow.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 2, 2007 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 3, 2007 at 11 a.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Deacon Stringfellow officiating.
Interment will follow in Catlett Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan Mudd, Billy Bunch, Brian Christian, Mount Wright, Jason Wright and Thomas Stringfellow.
