Jonathan Wayne Jenkins' Obituary
Jonathan Wayne Jenkins, 27, of Culpeper went to be with his Lord in the early afternoon hours of Tuesday, June 25, 2013 while at the Culpeper Regional Hospital. Jonathan was born May 7, 1986 in Albemarle County, to Wayne Allen Jenkins and the late Louise Ollie Eaton Jenkins.
Jonathan worked in the family business at Wayne’s Home Improvement doing Landscaping and Construction following his father’s footsteps. Jonathan was also an avid outdoorsman finding great joy in hunting and fishing though would also spend some time to shoot the occasional game of pool.
Jonathan is survived by his two children; Kamryn Jenkins of Culpeper and Peyton Canard of Front Royal. He is also survived by his father’s wife, Wanda Jenkins whom has helped raise him since he was 7 years old and Jonathan considered her to be his mother; his grandmother Emily Kennedy and Great Grandmother Ella Edwards, also his two brothers and one sister; Derik Woodward, Will Brill and Harley Brill, all of Culpeper and one nephew, Rylan Cowgill also of Culpeper. Numerous other extended family friends and close loved ones that were considered to be family in his heart.
The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Monday, July 1, 2013 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel.
A funeral service will be held at 11am on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Pastor Russell Jenkins officiating.
Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memory Gardens in Jeffersonton.
Pallbearers named are Chuck Handlowich, T. J. Woodward, Brandon Edwards, Gregg Gallimore, Dustin Gallimore and Willie Dodson. Honorary Pallbearers named are Tommy Woodward and Frankie Weakley.
