John Randolph Corbin, Sr.'s Obituary
John Randolph Corbin, Sr. 69, of Culpeper, died Sunday, December 10, 2006 at his residence. John was born August 26, 1937 in Rappahannock County, to the late Virginius Frances Corbin and Maude Elizabeth Cooke Corbin.
John was the owner and operator of Corbin’s Shell here in Culpeper for the last 40 plus years.
John is survived by his wife of 52 years, Jean Elizabeth Settle Corbin and his two sons; John “Randy” Corbin Jr. and his wife Robin and David Corbin and his wife Alice all of Culpeper. Also surviving are his two grandchildren Jason and Jeremy Corbin and his two great grandchildren Cameron Sheads and Jaydon Corbin, in addition to other extended family friends and loved ones.
The family will receive friends from 6-8p.m. on Tuesday, December 12, 2006 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels of Culpeper, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper.
A funeral service will be held at 11a.m. on Wednesday, December 13, 2006 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels of Culpeper, with Pastor Charles Shifflett officiating.
Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers named are Jason and Jeremy Corbin, Sam Rinker, Ronnie Horn, John Clore and Chip Utz.
