John Robert White Sr.'s Obituary
John Robert White, Sr., 70, of Fredericksburg passed away Friday, December 12, 2014 at his home.
John was a hardworking and loving, husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed taking the kids out fishing and loved driving his tractor trailer.
John is survived by his wife of 48 years, Joan; two daughters, JoAnn Hott and Julie Reid and her husband, Doug, all of West Virginia; a son, John White, Jr. and his wife, Barbara of Bumpass; four grandchildren, Dillion, Kristal, Emily, and Robert; five great-grandchildren, Sheldon, Sophia, Shayden, Mason, and Micah; a sister, Mary Walker of West Virginia; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Ann Harding, and a son-in-law, Lowell T. Hott.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 15, 2014 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. John’s family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, John’s family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the American Cancer Society, 4240 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, VA 23060-9904.
