John Tilden Spencer's Obituary
John T. Spencer, 48, a resident of Fredericksburg and formerly of Newport News passed away Sunday, July 11, 2010 after a brief illness.
John was born January 18, 1962 in Okinawa, Japan to Mary Joyce (Marken) Spencer and the late Jimmy Hill Spencer.
He is survived by his mother; two brothers, Mike and Nicola Spencer of Poquoson and Ben and Lyn Spencer of Lunenburg, Massachusetts; a niece and three nephews; and his dear and caring friends in Fredericksburg and Newport News.
John spent his career in the Construction and Residential Maintenance industry. John loved fishing and spent many happy moments in the Outer Banks and at his family’s ancestral home of Ocracoke, NC.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 24, 2010, at the Mary Washington Hospital Chapel in Fredericksburg.
