The first pic is John at my bachelor party in 1976, one of many great memories together and the second pic was from my visit to him in Front Royal and that was the best memory of all because that was the day John accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior so being a part of that with John was the best of all time knowing that John is with Jesus for eternity, God Bless you John and May God comfort your family and give them peace beyond all understanding in this most difficult time.🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️

A new beginning, John's oldest daughter starting her studies at Bryn Mawr College - it was lovely to have the Family Silas together here in my home... John, Marion, Caroline. Janey, my great-nieces and dear niece Holly to share a lunch and give all their support on this new venture. I met John when we would be picking our kids up from school. We soon discovered we both enjoyed golf and that started a friendship which lasted over twenty years. We never became better golfers but we did enjoy our time out on the course. John was always laughing and there was nothing he enjoyed more than being with his three daughters. My thoughts are with you as you grieve this tremendous loss.
