Thank you Johnny for being there for us. You taught us right from wrong and encouraged us to live by what is right, even when it's not the easy way. Thank you for teaching us to take care of ourselves in a way that allows us to not have to be too dependent on others and also for showing us that in times of need and comfort it is okay to lean on those around us.
Thank you for being a strong parent, working with mom, and having the patients to handle all the crap we gave you. Thank you for all your scare talks about drugs and how dangerous they are. It worked with us.
Thank you for teaching us to take life serious enough to live right, but show us that when we make a mistake it's okay to reflect back on them with laughter. You taught us honor and humility with your ability to laugh at yourself.
Thanks for all of the good memories, the outings to the zoo, the aquariums, all the nature parks, for the water fights with the hose, and playing in the pouring rain. Thanks for always taking pictures so we have them to look back on and remember all the good times.
But most of all thank you for your love and for being my dad.
