John Norris, Jr.'s Obituary
John R. Lefty Norris, Jr., 56, of 2810 Bulldog Road, Trade, TN, died Friday, March 16, 2007 in the Johnson City (Tennessee) Medical Center.
Mr. Norris was born in Alexandria, VA and was the son of the late John Randolph Norris, Sr., and Frances Corbin Norris of Remington, VA.
Mr. Norris was active in Little League Baseball and Football in the Johnson County, TN area. He was employed by Safeway Stores, Inc. for 34 years before his retirement. He was a U.S. Army Veteran.
Mr. Norris was preceded in death by his father and his wife, Linda Sue Norris.
In addition to his mother, survivors include one daughter, Jennifer Norris Wood, of Frederick, MD., three grandchildren, two brothers, Harlan W. Norris and his wife, Barbara of Remington, and Leon C. Norris and his wife, Bonnie of Falling Water, WV, several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2007 at 4 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701 with Rev. Sandy Martin officiating.
Interment will take place in Culpeper National Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 5216, Glen Allen, VA 23058-5216.
