John Tilden Morningstar's Obituary
John T. Morningstar, age 84, of Catharpin, formerly of Oakton, passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2012. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean War. John had worked for the Hecht Company and as a buyer for Giant Food. He established his own carpet and ceramic tile business. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Peggy; three daughters, Christine Blake and husband Spud, Wendy Berkhimer and husband Kevin, Janet Byrd and husband Jeff; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held on Monday, March 12, 2012 at 12:00 PM at Found and Sons Lee Funeral Chapel, 8521 Sudley Road, Manassas, VA 20109. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Healing Hearts Animal Rescue Group, 3660 Dunigan Ct., Catharpin, VA 20143.
