John Morley
John Wesley Morley, II, 37, of Spotsylvania County died unexpectedly Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at Mary Washington Hospital.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Nicky Morley; his three beautiful sons, Benjamin Morley (7), Luke Morley (4) and Bradford Morley (5 Months).
John was employed by the Rappahannock Area Health District as the Environmental Health Supervisor for both Spotsylvania and Caroline Counties.
John graduated from Courtland High School in 1989, where he made so many great memories on and off the football field. He then graduated from East Tennessee State University where he was a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity.
John was a wonderful loving father who was actively involved in his children’s lives. They enjoyed attending High School sporting events and playing football in the front yard. John gave his family so many cherished memories.
In addition to his wife and children, John is survived by his parents, John and Ruby Morley; his paternal grandmother, Nan Cutchall; his sisters, Cathy Childers and Sandy Elliott and her fiancée, Scott Barber and his sister-in-law, Kimberly Elliott and her husband, Charles; his brother-in-law, Jason Self and his companion, Mary Ann Franklin; his father-in-law, Thomas Self; his uncles and aunts, George and Debbie Morley as well as Mike and Audrey Morley and his great-aunt Sissy Hawley and her husband Doc Hawley.
He is leaving behind greatly loved nieces and nephews, Kassey Elliott, Justin Elliott, Ginny Elliott, Jacob Elliott, Kandace Franklin, McKenzie Childers, Austin Childers and Lindsay Self.
Pallbearers will be Mike Morley, George Morley, Scott Barber, Charles Elliott, Jason Self, Michael Morley and Daryl McCuiston.
John will be deeply missed by all of his family and friends. He was loved by all who knew him.
