John Leo Keaveny's Obituary
John (Jack) Leo Keaveny of Unionville, Va was reunited with his wife of 70 years, Eleanor, on March 5, 2018.
Born on July 26, 1927 in New York, NY, he entered the Navy at 16 during World War 2. Jack enjoyed hunting, fishing and all things outdoors. He was a volunteer for Love Outreach Food Pantry of Orange, Va.
Jack was preceded in death by his wife Eleanor, a sister Joan, a brother Tomas and lifelong friends Donald and Jean Hildebrand.
Jack is survived by his children; Kevin Keaveny, and his wife, Heather, of Unionville, Patricia Smith, and her husband, Jeffery, of Farmville and John Keaveny of Richmond; his grandchildren, John Keaveny, Baron Keaveny, Ryan Hamilton, Semone Sinclair, Joshua Sinclair, Kendra Sinclair, Charles Smith, and his wife, Dianna, and Emma Sharpe, six great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandchild, his sisters, Mary Lou Covell and her husband, William, and Patricia Nelson; a brother, Dennis Keaveny and numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be no service, per Jack's wishes.
