John Wilkin Johnson's Obituary
John W. Johnson, 62, of Fredericksburg, passed away Friday, May 3, 2024.
If you knew John, you knew his love of the Philadelphia Eagles! He was a fun loving, somewhat loud, happy guy. He had a smile and laugh that were contagious. John loved being Poppy to Jackson, Kensi, Carson, Creed, and Cooper. Oh how he enjoyed his poker nights with his best buddies. John was an absolutely amazing husband, father, brother, uncle, and best friend. He had a heart bigger than life.
John leaves behind his loving wife of 30 years and devoted caretaker, Debbie; also his devoted brother-in-law and caretaker, Henry Fox; four children, Jennie Martus (Steve), Essy Nolan (Josh), Brian Johnson, and Aaron Johnson; five sweet grandchildren and a bunch of nieces and nephews who adored him. He also leaves behind his best friend, John Knisley and his brothers, Frank Johnson (Cindy) in Virginia, Charles Johnson (Melody) in Texas, and David Johnson (Rhonda) in South Carolina.
John was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Louise Johnson; step-dad, Charles Johnson; nephew, (Little) Frank Johnson; and by his father-in-law, Gene Paschal, who always believed in him and thought of him as his son.
He will be missed so much...
