John Gustafson's Obituary
John (Gus) Gustafson, 74, of Fredericksburg passed away Monday, August 22, 2011 at Mary Washington Hospital.
He served in the US Army from 1954-1957.
Gus is survived by his wife of 41 years, Dorothy Louise Gustafson; four sons, Charles Childress of Spotsylvania County, Lewis Lloyd of Fredericksburg, Chris Childress and his wife, Angie and John D. Gustafson and his companion, Connie Bruner, all of Spotsylvania; five daughters, Patsy Light and her husband, Chris of Spotsylvania, Cindy Hinson and her husband, John of Fredericksburg, Jean Reardon and her husband, Gene of Spotsylvania, Pam Musselman and her husband, Wesley of King George County and Tina Frame and her husband, Roger of Spotsylvania; two sisters, Sylvia Rhoden of Spotsylvania and Shirley Eaigle and her husband, Leonard of Florida; 27 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Gus was preceded in death by his parents, Wilhelm and Helen Gustafson and two daughters, June and Deborah.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
