John William Feaganes Jr.'s Obituary
John William Feaganes, Jr., 76, of Culpeper, VA passed away Saturday, May 20, 2023, at UVA Health Culpeper Medical Center. He was born December 6, 1946, to the late John William Feaganes, Sr. and Lula Weaver Feaganes.
John retired from VDOT as a Transportation Operator II after 36 years of service. He enjoyed in his downtime to watch wrestling, football, and NASCAR.
John is survived by his wife of 41 years, Debra; children, William “Tim” Feaganes (Doreen) of Manassas, VA, Dean Feaganes (Becky) of Culpeper, VA, and Doyne Feaganes of Culpeper, VA; three grandchildren, Jesse Feaganes and Carissa Feaganes of Culpeper, VA and Taylor Feaganes of Manassas, VA.
In addition to his parents, John is preceded in death by his first wife, Judy Elizabeth Jones Feaganes.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Fairview Cemetery with Pastor Sandy Martin officiating.
Due to road construction, please allow extra time to travel and enter through Gate 7 on N. Aspen Street of Fairview Cemetery if needed.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks memorial contributions be made to the Culpeper County Volunteer Fire Department, 157 W. Davis Street, Culpeper, VA, 22701.
