John Dane
John Christopher Dane, 56, of Fredericksburg passed away Sunday, February 1, 2009 at Mary Washington Hospital.
He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Dane, formerly of Alpena, Michigan. He is survived by his mother, Betty Dane of Fredericksburg; two brothers, David Dane and his wife Susan of Fredericksburg and Richard Dane of Virginia Beach; one sister, Kathie Amols and her husband George of Fredericksburg; nieces, Megan Dane, Rhiannon Bowden and her husband Stuart, Jennifer Amols and Maggie Dane; nephews, Eric Dane and his fiance Julie Holloman, John- Patrick Dane, MacKenzie Dane, and Nicholas Dane; special friends, Liz and Chip Sudduth; Jackie Walker, Todd Connie, and Joey TenEyck, his many firends at Rappahannock Adult Activities Inc.; and the wonderful staff on 4 North at MWH (especially Mary).
Funeral services will be private with interment at Evergreen Cemetery, Alpena, MI at a later date.
The family asks that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the ARC of Rappahannock, 1640-B Lafayette Blvd., Fredericksburg, VA 22401; The Rappahannock Adult Activities Inc., 750 Kings Highway, Fredericksburg, VA 22405; or Mary Washington Hospice 5012 Southpoint Parkway, Fredericksburg, VA 22407.
