John Condon's Obituary
John Condon, 84, of Mildland Beach died Thursday, April 19, 2007 at his son's home in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
He was born December 4, 1922 in Manhattan to the late Thomas and Mary Condon.
John moved to Midland Beach in 1952. He was a District Foreman for the NYC Department of Water Supply retiring in 1974.
He is survived by his wife, Lilly Condon; his son, Michael and his wife, Gretchen of Fredericksburg; his son, Peter and his wife, Marcia of Cleveland, OH; his daugher, Alice Kadish of Syracuse, NY; daugher-in-law, Laura Simms of Salem, VA; grandchildren, Ryan, Shawn and Erin Simms and Jonathan Kadish; brother-in-law, Gerald Garvin and several nieces and nephews as well as his best friend, Al Gilligan.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas; sister, Helen Garvin and son Dennis Condon.
He will be remembered for his love and devotion to his family and friends.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to a hospice of your choice.
