John Thomas Brown, Jr.'s Obituary
John Thomas Brown, Jr., 48, of Rixeyville died Sunday, February 23, 2020 at Fauquier Hospital after a 16 month fight with colon cancer. He was born October 28, 1971 in Leesburg to John Brown, Sr. and Juywina Farmer Brown.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 21 years, Michelle E. Brown; one son, Damian Carder Brown; two sisters, Amanda Brown (James Jackson), and Helen White (Rodney); two half-sisters, Beverly Rouse (Randy), and Christina Looney (Shot); father and mother-in-law, Terry and Patricia Robarge; two sisters-in-law, Catherine Barnes and Susanna Robarge; three brothers-in-law, Angel Ortiz (Becky), Dan Davis (Doug), and John Robarge; and a special aunt, Mary Taylor.
Additional survivors include aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other family members.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 29, 2020 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 1, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Pastor Steve Dodson.
Interment will be private.
Special thank you to Fauquier Oncology and Infusion Center, UVA Radiology Vein and Vascular, Fauquier Hospital ICU, and all the nurses and physicians that were a part of his care. Dr. Manchandi and the infusion center nurses were his angels always treating him with kindness. The ICU nurses and Heartland Hospice who gave his family and friends the time to say their goodbyes and when it was time, allowed John to pass with dignity.
