John "Bob" Robert Jones' Obituary
John “Bob” Robert Jones, 74, of Culpeper, died Saturday, September 28, 2024, at UVA Health Systems Culpeper Hospital. He was born January 2, 1950, in Michigan to the late John Bright and Myrtle P. Jones.
Bob loved his country and served in the U.S. Army. He loved his family and friends and thought the world of them. He was the owner of T.J.’s Auto Sales.
He is survived by his daughter, Kim Fant; four grandchildren, Skylar Fant, Sydney Cropp (Zachary), Camryn Fant, and Olivia Fant; four great-grandchildren, Hadlee Armstrong, Mila Cropp, Colton Cropp, and Hailey Cropp; and a host of extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 6, 2024, at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 7, 2024, at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel.
Interment will follow at Culpeper National Cemetery, 501 E. Chandler Street, Culpeper, VA 22701. Pallbearers serving the family will be Steve Corbin, Eddie Tolson, Darrell Payne, DeWayne Payne, Danny Payne, John Payne, Richard Stapleton, and Alan Moy. Vernon Bunch will be an honorary pallbearer.
