It was always a good time when John was around, laughing, joking, teasing & including everyone. He added charisma to our class when he came from Prep. Being in the play, "We Shook the Family Tree" with John, with Betty Augustine directing, was lots of fun. When he told me he was going to take a college English class while we were still in H.S. I went with him. Starting college early allowed me to graduate in 3 years so I could be a TWA stewardess. TWA took me to England where I got to visit you & John & your 3 lovely "English" children. Our class was thrilled to see John in 2006 & your lipstick Thank-You stayed on our bathroom mirror until this year when we rented our house to another classmate this fall. Jim remembers being in a class with John taught by Mr. Doxtatter. It was a lot of fun being in the class & John was responsible for that. He was helpful, open, honest, knowledgeable, & supportive to everyone. May you find some comfort in your memories and ours...and also in the knowledge that many people offer you support and share in your loss.
Love,
Jim & Cherie Kohler
