John Timothy Beahm's Obituary
John Timothy “Timmy” Beahm, 63, of Rappahannock, VA passed away Saturday, September 23, 2023, at his residence. He was born on April 19, 1960, to the late Silas Abram Beahm and Lena Elizabeth Baldwin Beahm, and raised by Kathleen Atkins Beahm.
Timmy loved farming and his cattle. He adored his farm family at Whippoorwill Farm. When not farming, Timmy would be found enjoying the outdoors, working or riding on his John Deere Tractors, and hunting. He enjoyed turning wrenches, which is the main quality that made him a great mechanic. When NASCAR season was upon us, Timmy would be found watching the races and supporting Dale Earnhardt, Sr, as he was a diehard fan. Everyone knew when Timmy had to get home because he would always say, “Well let me get back to get down holler before they lock the gate on me.”
Timmy is survived by his brothers, Donald Beahm (Sandy), and Michael Beahm; nephews, Scott Slusser (Anne) and Donnie Beahm (Kimberly); special aunt, Eleanor; great nieces, Linda and Faith Beahm; great nephew, Hunter Beahm; cousins, Andy Baldwin (Patty), Kenneth Baldwin (Kim), and Jason Baldwin (Stacey); extended family, Rodney and Donna Kestner; and a host of family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Timmy is preceded in death by his sister, Linda Beahm Slusser; brother-in-law, Frank Slusser; uncles, T.R. Baldwin, Sr., Ike Beahm, and George William Beahm; cousin, Danny Ray Baldwin; nephew, Chad Slusser; and his special friend, John Clark.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, September 30, 2023, at 12 p.m. at The Smedley Family Cemetery on Gid Brown Hollow Road in Washington, VA 22747 with Pastor Bill Taylor officiating.
