Joe “Jody” Cannon Pullen was taken from this life early Sunday, October 9, 2016 and welcomed in his next life with open arms by his many loved ones and Jesus. Jody was born on November 29, 1978 in Culpeper, VA to William “Joe” Pullen and Nancy Nicholson Tuck.
Jody loved to laugh and clown around. He worked in tree work since a child with his grandfather. He was one of the best “door knockers” estimators around. He is dearly loved and will be missed greatly.
Jody is survived by his parents; one sister, Wendy Lawson and her husband, Richard who loved Jody as a brother and best friend; his two children, Kanon Kilby and Shayna Pullen; his grandmother, Ruth Nicholson; uncle, Wayne Nicholson; cousins, Rocky Fincham who was raised with Jody as a brother, Danielle and Rachel Nicholson, Morgan Kilby, and Steven Nicholson; his nieces whom he loved dearly, Carlee and Leeya Lawson; his half siblings, Joshua and Jennifer Pullen; and his girlfriend, Karen Fincham and her children.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Carl Nicholson; aunt, Debbie Fincham; uncle Steve Nicholson; two brothers, Shane Jenkins and James Smith; and one cousin who was like a sister, Amy Fincham.
Services will be private.
