Joe Ross Essary's Obituary
Joe Ross Essary born Nov 1, 1925 in Baileyboro, Texas and went to heaven on April 6, 2014 to be with Jesus.
He was an aviation machinist mate for the U.S. Navy in WWII and a retired Naval reservist. Joe also was a firefighter for the Kern County Fire Department for 25 years.
He had a love for gardening and for dogs. He was a kind and loving man who will be greatly missed.
Joe is survived by his son, Pat Essary and family.
A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 11, 2014 in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers Joe's family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Mary Washington Hospital Foundation, 1300 Hospital Drive, Suite 305, Fredericksburg, VA 22401, please note in memo line Kenny’s Closet.
